It’s been a long week, so I’m certainly glad to see Saturday on the horizon. Here’s another quick Weekend Roundup!

This week didn’t lend too much time for gaming, unfortunately. Luckily, I’m hoping to make up for that in the hours ahead of me. Let’s see what’s on the agenda.

Last weekend I didn’t get to crack into Ruiner, so I’m hoping to change that this weekend. It seems like a good counterpoint to Moon Hunters (read our review here), focusing on top-down action, but with a much higher octane.

Something, something, baseline test

Fallout: New Vegas is also on my plate, yet again. I’m still in the introductory hours, but taking my time to get the most of my experience. I’m hoping to make some real progress and see why so many hail it as one of the best in the series. I will say, the setting is intriguing from the very first frames, so I can’t wait to see what it has to offer.

What I believe will be consuming a large portion of my weekend, however, is an early-access game called Memories of Mars. Entering Closed Beta for the weekend, it’s an open-world survival title that takes place on, you guessed it, Mars. As a fan of games like ARK: Survival Evolved, The Long Dark, and Don’t Starve, I’m really intrigued to see the genre explored on the red planet. Expect a write-up on this in the coming weeks!

Short and sweet this week, but only because I’d rather be playing everything I just wrote about.

Thanks for tuning in and have a stellar weekend!
